Maybelline Unstoppable Eyeliner in Onyx Review
Hello beauties!
Here’s another review of an eyeliner pencil I got hold of as a part of my tiny haul from the United States. This eyeliner came along with the washable version of Maybelline One-by-one mascara as a combo pack. There was a Christmas sale going on and I came across many great deals. Who’ll say no to great deals! So I got hold of the mascara and eyeliner combo from Maybelline and I can never be more satisfied with my purchase. The mascara has already been reviewed so I will move on with the Unstoppable eyeliner in Onyx. The One-by-one mascara is just too great for my liking and let’s see how the eyeliner goes for me. I am stickler for black kajals and liners; I find it classy enough to pull any kinda look.

My take on Maybelline Unstoppable Eyeliner in Onyx:
I have always been a devoted buyer of Maybelline products, not one product of theirs has disappointed me so far. Their quality is amazing as always and it does not burn a hole in your pockets. Coming to the eyeliner, the packaging is simple, non-fussy retractable pencil. It comes in a black tube, with the name written in silver, also the other end of the pencil has a tiny part that comes off and I’m not sure of its function. It also claims to self-sharpen by swiveling up and down, so that the point stays sharp. I am yet to find out the mechanism behind the self-sharpening claim, after many futile attempts. I’m afraid the product will break if I swivel it up more.
The pigmentation is quite good for my liking, gives a rich black color in 2-3 swipes. I would not say the texture is soft and smooth; I found it in close resemblance with the Colossal but vary slightly. It is water-proof and stays put on the eyelids for more than half a day. On my waterline, it stayed for about an hour after which my eyes got watery and itchy. It does claim to be safe for sensitive eyes, I wonder if it is safe for the waterline. It is not completely smudge-proof as claimed, since the product fades away when rubbed vigorously. Maybe I am expecting too much I guess It does glide smoothly, with a little tug here and there, but I can’t complain more for such an awesome product. It gives a matte finish that looks classy and elegant; one swipe of it defines your eyes. As claimed it does stay all day with some fading and it can be removed with an eye-makeup remover. Overall, I loved both of the products I got, the mascara and the eyeliner, and Maybelline failed to disappoint me yet again!
